PURIM

Getting back to the 'pyramid' etymology story once again, note that the same Kartvelia root 'pur' may be the source for the famous Hebrew feast 'purim'.

The Jewish people themselves think that 'purim' is a plural form of 'pur' - 'lot', making 'purim' equal to 'lots'.

By why not consider it to be the Kartvelian 'puri' word meaning 'feast' which would turn 'purim' into 'feasts'?

Why should we look at Hebrew words from Kartvelian point of view? Because the Midlle East is overwhelmed with kartvelisms.
