LEKVI & HORTSI

Two dog-related Kartvelian words that may lead to Slav names of two dog breeds.

ლეკვი [lekvi] is 'puppy'. May be the root of 'легавий' [legaviy] breed.

ხორცი [hortsi] is 'meat'. May be the root of 'хортий' [hortiy] breed.
