ХМАРА (HMARA)

The tie between the Ukrainian word "хмара" (hmara), meaning 'cloud', and the Kartvelian verbs/nouns დახმარება (dahmareba), meaning 'to help/help', and ხმრება (hmareba), meaning 'to use/use', may be through significance of clouds (that bring rains that increase harvests) in ancient times. If so, then the root 'hmar' means directly 'help' and 'use'.
