After Svaneti, Albania and Hungary we go to Algeria, where you'll also find more than a handful of '-shi'-ending surnames (since Algeria is French-speaking, the endings are spelled -chi):
Chaouchi, Hannachi, Kouachi, Kourichi, Laachi, Merakchi, Zemmouchi, Lamouchi, Guechi, Harrachi...
Besides many surnames end with '-che', with '-e' being mute in French manner. They may not have been mute in pre-French era.
All that is against hugely and undoubtedly Kartvelian background of the North Africa and Algeria in particular.
