SUDETI

No one would argue the obviously Kartvelian look of this Czech toponym. If it is Kartvelian, then Sudeti = 'land of sudi'.

In Kartvelian 'sudi' (სუდი) means 'oats'.

Germanic people (who used to live right in that part of Europe) also used to cultivate oats as food, which they were mocked by the Romans for:

So, Sudety may well be Kartvelian 'land of oats'.

And what about 'official' etymology of Sudety? There's no such:
