THYBARENI --> SETUBAL

The Kartvelian-speaking tribe of Tibareni (more exact spelling seems to be THYBARENI, with 'Y' read as [u]) from Turkey's North-East contain the Svan toponymic suffix -AR. Hence, 'thubar' means 'land of thub/თუბ/თუვ', whatever this root means.

In fact, the Kartvelian connection of Tabal/Tubal is a well-known and accepted fact:

What we are doing probably for the first time is finding this toponym on Pyrenees. More exactly, in Portugal.

The toponym's name is Setubal, it's a famous city. Its etymology is unknown to the Portuguese, although they suspect that it's derived from the same name of Tubal. The remaining SE-prefix may be explained as transformed Kartvelian toponymic SA-prefix. The transformation is likely for the first syllable is unstressed.
