TIBET

After having found an overwhelming amount of evidences of Kartvelian presence over the Old World, we have a total right to read all the 'et/at'-ending toponyms from Katrvelian point of view.

One of them is Tibet (Tibethi, in Georgian rendering). To find out the meaning of the word we need to go for 'tibi' as a possible root noun. The Georgian-English dictionary of Rayfield translates ტიბი [tibi] as 'pleasant scent'.

Tibet practices Buddhism. The buddhists practice incense. So, Tibet is undoubtedly the 'land of pleasant scent', which in Kartvelian is LITERALLY 'Tibethi'.
