SAVROMATIA

'Savromati' looks very interesting too, since it too has both a Kartvelian toponymic prefix and a Kartvelian toponymic suffix. The root - vrom - does not seem to be present in the available Kartvelian dictionaries, but it exists in the Greek dictionary in several interesting meanings:

βρωμάω (бромао) - stinky
βρώμη (бромі) - oats

Both fit very well the nomad people of Savromatia. The relations between Kartvelian and Greek were intense, you'll see that in the corresponding entries.

The most remarkable is that if we want to form this toponym strictly by the rules of Kartvelian morphology, we would end up with Sa+vrom+e - 'the land of vromi'. You will find the name of Saurome in one of Nostradamus texts here:

Aupres du Rin des montaignes Noriques,
Naistra vn grand de gens trop tard venu:
Qui defendra Saurome & Pannoniques,
Qu'on ne scaura qu'il sera deuenu.
