BAETICA

This is the southmost Spanish region, associated with the Baetis river. Once again, as we did so many times, let's see clear 'Baeti' in this toponym. Or ბაეთი in Kartvelian. Which would be 'land of bai'. The word ბაი (bai) indeed used to exist in Kartvelian language in the meaning of 'coconut'. So, 'Baeti' becomes thus legitimate to translate as 'land of coconuts'. The cocos palms sometimes are attested as cultivated in Andalucia indeed. What it was like millenniums ago, few know. May have meant a place of coconuts' trade, not necessarily coco palms cultivation.
