MAURITANIA TINGITANA

Similarly to the previous post, the word TINGITANA also contains the Kartvelian ET-suffix, for the root here being TINGI, allegedly Berberian word:

TINGITANA <-- TINGETANA <-- TINGETI <-- 'land of tingi'

The meaning of TINGI itself probably lies in the word ტინგიცა [tingitsa], meaning 'frivolous'.
