Actually, anyone following closely this blog should have already come to this conclusion due to the great number of Kartvelian toponyms all over Minor Asia.
But today I would like to draw your attention to a quote from Herodotus, Book V, Chapter 122, where he says that Hymaees made himself master of GERGITHAE who were all the remnant that was left of the ancient Teucri (who, as we remember, were the Troyan nation).
The word GERGITHAE is highly likely to conceal the mere 'Gergeti', 'land of Gergi (Gorgi, Georgi)'.
Also note how the high-brow Russian idiots are unable even to tell theta from phi. In Russian translation of Herodotus the nation is called 'Гергифы'...
